Lethargic

Have you ever gone through a day when you just feel sooo damn bloody lethargic?

Argghh..Don't you just hate that! Esp on days when you HAVE to get moving around and there's no way you can rot at home. Just feels soooo ~bleh~ if you get what i mean..

Wow...It's pouring outside!! Haven had rain in the night for quite awhile now. mmm.. Feels good. Just adds on to the feeling of not wanting to do anything! hehhe..

Alright now. Girls, don't you just HATE it when you get a pimple outbreak before your period comes? If you have never experienced that before, LUCKY YOU! If you have at least once, i guess u share my sorrow.

After months of having skin which actually look half decent due to extra care and effort (plus dun forget MONEY spent on those skin care products) into maintaining, this blooody period (no pun intended) just HAD to come and mess up my hormonal balance and thus resulting in a breakout!

Dammit man! Been looking like a pimpled-face, in-midst-of-puberty secondary schoold kid for the past few days!! &^%%*%&&

Luckily no big function to attend ..Irritating la..

No joke ok.. Just hate pimple outbreaks laH! It's like once you get the 2nd one popping out after the first, THAt's IT MAN! No matter how u try to prevent more from coming, nothing works!

Weird thing is even though you maintain your normal eating habits, face washing regime or whats not, such things happen! Hormones i tell you. Hormones!


Baseline: Hate it when period comes !

As if the normal goes-about of it is not troublesome enough!

Parallel Parking

I HATE PARALLEL PARKING!!! or rather i haTE the process of LEARNING how to parallel park!! argghhh...

Legs were shaking more than Elvis's after 30-45mins of parallel parking!!


To think this is only the BEGINNING of my lessons for parking!! bleh~

Burning memories

Past few days were kinda interesting. The activities took a bit off my mind from the daily battle that goes on inside--on whether to work or to go study..

Anyhooz..Friday(5/8/05) was my frappy's (aka daddy!!) bday!



That's the cake we bought him! Looks like it's on fire though!! =P

My frappy sure is getting older..I wish my frappy dearie good health and happiness always!!!

Then on saturday we went to JB for dinner..

On monday, i went for a bbq dinner thingy at my sister-in-law's place! no, wait..bEFORE the dinner, my brother brought me to get burnt!! he tricked me to go flying with him!

No dear, of cos not flying as in FLYING! We went to fly his plane..In the bloody hot afternoon sun if i might add.

Cant believe there are sooo many people who are actually seriously passionate abt flying planes man!
Overall it was fun. Luckily there was this airy big party tent (will try to get a pix of it) to shade me from the sun. Unfortunately, the sun still managed to get me!
Bottom line is...now im BURNT!!

SUN super powerful nowadays i tell u!!

Oh yah, so after the sun-burning session..went to grab a few things before heading off to my sister-in-law's place. Food was great..mm..nothing out of the ordinary to talk abt...

But bro ended up tooo tired to send me and me sis home. Thus we decided to spend the night at her place. It was a VERY interesting night!

We slept pretty early (ard 11pm) because i was honestly dead tired already! Fell asleep to music being played on the cd player downstairs. Then somehow ard 1am i was awaken by weird array of songs!!

Turns out sister-in-law's brother and his few friends were like having a karaoke session! It was sooo loud that even with the doors closed, i could still hear them upstairs man!!

But luckily their guitar playing and song choice was pretty good! They sang like one song after another. Non-stop..with the guitarist(no idea whom) playing chords in between to link the songs up. They sang and sang and sang....

Somewhere during their huge repertoire, i managed to drift back to sleep only to be rudely awaken agAIN ard 3am to them singing(or rather bellowing)

'Stand up for singapore. Do the best you can. Reach out for ur fellow man..........'

Then followed right after by

'We are singapore..we are singapore..we will stand together, hear the lions roar......'
[one idiot actually roared at this part! i tried so hard to stop my laughter that i ended up giving a little snort]

-hysterical laughter in between-

'We, the citizens of singapore ..pledge ourselves as one united people......'

Me: .........

Talk about being patriotic! 3am in the morning man!!

But no hard feelings la..All in the name of good fun!

Then after mad laughter from them, they went on singing other songs...From Hotel California to Dayong Sampan..From Country Road to Popeye the Sailor man(cant believe they actually KNOW THE LYRICS TO THAT WHOLE SONG!!!!!).... The concert went on and on and on....

Then spent National Day being burnt in the hot sun again(went to fly plane again)! The 'burning sensation' reminded me of 2yrs back when i was involved in the parade. Of how i also got burnt to 2nd degree even before the parade started. It also reminded me of Alden's equally red face! (de jevu entry eh?haha..)

So anyway, planned to go watch the fireworks with a buddy of mine in the night but ended up not going cos both of us were toooo tired. And i felt toooo burnt to warm-up to the idea of being pushed among tons of people (was planning to go to esplanade) and having to squeeze in the mrt to get hm [get the joke? heheh....burnt,warm-up? hehhHEHE....] -.-

So watched parade from home, was drifting in between dreamland and reality halfway through the parade..Woke up seeing the colored potato chips dancing on tv and was fully awake during the fireworks display. Oh, one can NEVER get bored of fireworks i tell u! Love the Gold Dust best!! ahhhhh -sighz-

Recently im hooked to those $1 icecream..U know, those kind that comes in the push-cart style. Yup, anyway in my semi-sane state that i was in after teaching today, here's a stupid convo i had with the icecream seller.

Me: Uncle, you mei you scoop de? (translated: you got the scooped kind?)
Uncle: -nods head-
Me: oh ok..i want chocolate.
Uncle: Biscuit?
Me: err nooO.. icecream.
Uncle: -stares at me-
Me: oohh noo noo..i mean bread!!

Sooooo pai seh after that ah!!!! Luckily there werent too many people ard! Phew~


Note to self: Never buy anything when not fully-awake next time!

All the babies fault la! Teaching them can drain me man! But i love them all sooOOOOO much!!! Think im starting to get attached to them already..oh no!
But all soo cute..how not to like? what's NOT to like?

Btw, they're only in K1..mmm...Nowadays parents a little too kan chong la. K1 only then already send them for reading/phonics class. But i guess it's better to teach a kid early aso la. If wait till P1 then realise that he/she have problem reading then sure got problems during exams!

Talking abt phonics, i was really amazed by how it works man! I mean i did not learn how to read my words using phonics. (mmm..come to think abt it, i dun even remember how i recognised words!mmmmmm..) If i recall correctly, my age group people werent taught using phonics. Do YOU guys know phonics?

I mean the way they break up the words..Amazing..
Like the word CHIP is actually broken into..

CH- (pronounced as 'cher')
-IP (prononced as 'ip')
put it together and u get CHIP!!

amazing! i was like o_O the first time i heard it! I mean in my impression there were only such things in Chinese class!! Impressed.. Kinda interesting.. Am actually learning along with those kids! heheh..

Talking abt kids remind me of maids..which reminds me of that new movie THE MAID!!! urrghh...damn the advertisments for the show man!

Coz there i was...innocently walking hm (crappygang u know the darkness la)..listening to my fm and all. Then the advertisment came up!

-in creepy old woman's voice-

And at tt same bloody moment someone had to come up behind me..And he was talking!! Damn damn..Almost scared the shit out of me man! Why the hell must they play such things on radio!!! Show those ads. on TV not enough meh?? spare a thought for people like me la!!

Yah yah..i know! Im a coward!! Dunno why la..but it seems as if the older i get, the easier i get freaked out from such things! Im sooo not gonna come hm after 12midnight for the next 29days man! Sorry gang, if wanna meet must go home early k? :S

And did i mention before that my mum is such a darling.. Before she went to bed earlier, she went:

Mummy: Eh, only ur room the windows open at night know.
Me: So? U guys dun open the windows cos you switch on the AIRCON what! hmpph..
Mummy: then too bad for u la..Be careful what might come in ah.. U know this is what month ah...
