It was such a busy day!

Started with zj's & ed's wedding lunch at 12pm...

The food at mandarin oriental is really 👍🏼

So happy to see 2 sec sch friends marry each other! :)

Theirs is a very unique love story. Both same sec sch but different class.

After many years post sec sch, when both were alrdy working, guy told a common friend between them that he was looking for a gf.. Common friend recommended zj...

From there sparks flew and now both happily married! ❤️❤️

Wishing them both eternal bliss & a loving marriage! 

Next up after the wedding, I rushed home to pick up hubs, Don n mama cos that night is also an early 团圆饭!!!

But before yum yum, need to meet a client for a quick servicing... (Said it was a busy day ma)

Sooooo many dishes! Was yumssss...😋

Ok, will end abruptly to create another post for actual CNY day 1... 

7th Jan-- the Hubs 33rd birthday

This date, 7th Jan will always be a special day ever since I know this guy 8years ago..

When we first started celebrating it as a couple in 2011, it marked my headache of finding something special for him every year! 😂

And because it's sooooo close after the Christmas/new year celebrations, it always feel like an extended week of celebrations after New Year's Day!

But I've made myself proud the last few years! From a cake in the shape of a volleyball to cupcakes of a fisher man to Man U related cake to finally resorting to using churros in 2016 as a 'cake'....

I think I've kept the Cake Game quite strong! Hahah.. Till this year that is.......... 😔

And I feel really awful about it! 2017's bday prep for my dear husband has been the worst since we got together!

Granted that our boy went for an op just the day before. But it's no excuse for not getting even a card.

Actually I did try to find a present ever since Christmas!

Yes b, if ure reading this.... I did hover ard the flying plane thing at taka on the day I went shopping alone there! But for $39.90.......... I pick up hold it soooo long then decided that I'll save tt money to change yr failing iPad and phone instead! 😂

So yea, after deciding and rejecting many present options, I ended up with nothing for my man on 7th Jan! :(

BUT!! We did buy a cake when we brought don to change his wound dressing.. Haha.. N even that is a failure in my standards!

And now even this post is waaaaaaaay delayed! It's now FEB!! Hahha... 

But the love is real ok... I still love this man so so much.

Despite now knowing and experiencing more of his (bad + short) temper, anger, fartworks, excessive burps, I am still very grateful that our paths crossed and now it's tied together! :)

This man has his flaws, but I'm still loving and appreciative of his attributes instead! The way he's so hands on with Don and the house stuff (at times)... Really is God love me man... To give me such a man to take care of me and the family..

Now I just wanna end by wishing my dear hubby bb: may u enjoy good health always.. All things to go smoothly for you.. Work to be a success and many amazing clients with good referrals..

May our family be forever close knitted and united. Be happy & prosperous together! I love you bb chia wee ping! 😘

Don goes for op-- 6th Jan 2017

It's now 7.30am...

We're getting ready while the baby still sleeps...

He has not taken any solids since 12mn.. Last milk feed had to be before 3am... And no water since 6.30am...

Really really hoping he doesn't wake up crying for food or water soon.... 🙏🏻 praying that he can last till they knock him out.... This poor boy can't handle hunger de!! 😅😖

12.40pm:

The op is done... He's fully awake now but kinda grouchy.. Generally peaceful but will whine from time to time..

Thank goodness he was crying before the procedure thgh he fasted for more than 6hrs..

Sunday (day2 post op):

You won't even know this boy went for a surgery if you looked at him!!! The way he moves and twists and roll! Like as if no wounds no pain!

This boy knows no fear!

Actually on the day itself, he didn't even need the 2nd dose of painkillers.. But we these kiasi parents still gave la.. Haha..

Rather than he suddenly in great pain then still need to wait for the meds to take effect...

Think the most heart wrenching of this whole surgery is the post op part.

The part when he was just waking up from the GA...

Basically he was just crying and screaming when we first saw him post op...

Eyes closed face red!

Gave him some milk which stopped him from crying awhile then back to crying again..

Inconsolably crying for a good 15mins before he fell asleep..

He was reacting much better after he opened his eyes and saw us..

Oh well, really glad that that part is over! Have to thank God that this dear boy is healing so well now.. Was prepared mentally for a crazier time! Phew~

Hope this smooth recovery carries on and all will be well! Also praying that nothing is wrong with the right testis! Pls let it be of the correct size and condition when we do the follow up on the 25th! 🙏🏻

Today I don't feel like doing anything.....

Lazy 2nd of January...

woke up ard 8+ as usual cos the monkey doesn't know how to sleep in yet... Then ordered mac breakfast. (Think we're the only ppl ordering cos everyone's into healthy eating esp since it's the start of the new year and all right? Haha)

So gave the monkey 1 piece of pancake to eat on his own with some milk...

After which it was some play then and then nap... Which started ard 12.20+pm......

Till now! 2.45pm!

I'm alrdy done with my nap and can't wait to get off the bed... But the small one is still happily snoozing! 😳

Done playing my game, scrolling date, scrolling FB.... And now ending my blog post soon!

Oh, and yes... His daddy is sleeping too! Cos tt one, really stubborn... Always soooo glued to his movies n shit that he goes to sleep at least a good 45mins after we do.. So usually when we're done, he's only half rested! 😤

Ok, wondering how I can sneak to the toilet and out of the room without him waking up...,,

Oooooo.... Someone looks awake!!!! 👏🏼😄
