Had a nice busy long weekend!
Met up with a buddy yesterday to return her the digi-cam i borrowed.

And we ended up sharing this...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FrOgGY!!!

Dearie sis-in-law planned a picnic for him. Greedy me decided to join in the fun despite the nice weather to sleep in.

We decided to go do something he LOVES! Model plane flying.

Turns out there was a plane flying event going on somewhere in Tuas 2day! So to Tuas we went...

You dun see small small ah..This thing is HUGE!!!

The air display was actually quite fun! Stunts..Loud engine..JETS!! YES!!

THere were actually model jet planes too!!! Was damn cool sia!!! When it flew pass the tents...machiam NATIONAL DAY FLY PASS man!!! -shiok-

Oh ohh..this plane below is my fav. of the day. Didnt actually see it fly, but looks damn hot! =D

During a bored moment when all the pilots had a mini-meeting, decided to take a pix of them.

Well, after bbq-ing myself part in the shade & sun for abt 3hr+...we decided to go off to have our little picnic!! FOOD FOOD!!!!

ALL the food ive been keeping away from, just for the sake of looking good at

the wedding...all efforts gone ka-poot!! bleh~

Well, so be it...Here's the nice scenery we ate to.. Or rather part of it..

Yeah, gonna end abruptly here. Just realised i have not ironed my clothes for tmr!

And considering the ungodly hour at which i have to wake up at, doing it tmr is totally out of the question!!

GoD!! 6.30aM !! Freaking mad...Haven seen the sky at that hour for like how long le!!! Im definitely nOT a morning person!!

Morning for me starts at 10.30am.

Honestly!!

I was soooOOOO freaking cold that my insides actually started to hurt!

And even after increasing the temp. to make it warmer, the bloody place was still winter-liked man!!! Wouldnt be surprised if i saw a penguin walk across the room!

Freaking control must be spoilt!!

It feels weird..I dunno whether to be excited, nonchalent, worried or glad.

21st bday preparation

SIX MORE DAYS TO THE PARTY!!!!!!!

In EIGHT days, im gonna be 21!!!
What's the big deal? mmMm...actually im not sure too. Just feeling more excited about the party.

As of now, the age doesnt seem to have any meaning to me. Im just feeling all hyped up that i'll get to see many friends who i have not met up for sooOOOO long!!!

Using my bday as an excuse to meet everyone again is the main reason why im bothering to go through all the hussle involved in planning the party. Really know! It's really not as simple as one would think!

There's like a million things to think about!!!! First and foremost there's the guest-list. Cos without them, there's no party rite?
Then there's the food. Another big headache..Cos good food= greater hole in pocket.
(speaking of which, those who are invited..better come earlier ah! Cos food is REALLY REALLY good!! So better *ahem* give me more ang bao tt day* ahem)

hmm...what was I saying? ............. oh yah.. Then there's aso the decorations, the bbq stuff, the music, the all-other-stuff....

Basically planning a party isnt a simple 3-step process. In my opinion the calling of people itself is enough to kill you!!! Unless of cos all your friends are those super 'on' types, then good for U!

k, tt entry was typed on Sunday, 2/4/06..Was distracted half-way by something (forgot what)..But was lazy to start new entry, so shall continue here..

Anyhoos, the next 13hrs..I have like a million things to do!!

- Make *special food item for the party*
- Get materials for *something special*
- Go back to office to do some urgent paperwork
- Buy food stuff for bbq..
- Help mum with a particular food dish for tmr

seems not many but all veryyyYYY time-consuming sia!! Wonder why im still here typing this!!!

Im just getting a teeny winny bit excited le..Just too busy to feel the full-blow of excitment yet.

Hmm..i wonder if there's any surprises installed? hahah... Funnily I like the surprises my friends gave me over the years. Didnt seem tt great at that moment, but real nice memories to go back to after the years have passed.

At my last party, they tried to get my mum to scold me for dunno what reason to make me cry. The main aim was to make me cry la..But luckily mama was good! hehe..she refused to play along! -grinz-

Then turns out they have something else under their sleeves..They invited a crush i had then without me knowing!! Was a nice surprise... Meanly, most of them left after telling me that!!

So i wonder if perhaps Shan Wee or some celebrity will turn up at the party as part of his 'Do me a favour' segment in one of the party themes as a surprise pre-planned by one of u guys. =D
i still kinda wish nick or howie D cld be there too!! okok, im going mad..No one 'EXTRA' special is gonna be there.

k la, i gotta run. Shldnt even be here typing all these now! Just wanted to note down how i feel now for future reference la.. hehe...21 21 21 21 21!!!!!

Today i had an interesting conversation with a guy friend of mine.

Still stuck in NS, he's posted to a particular camp (shall not disclose for obvious reasons) where apparantly he claims that 70% of the people are gay.

Shocked by the %-tage, i asked him how come?!?!





shitz!! i realised that if i wanna continue with this mind-opening 'discovery' of mine, it will somehow be obvious where he is posted to...shucks.....

k, nvm...It's a fact anyway...So dude, if u see this...just shut up..DONT DISCLOSE YRSELF!!! hahha..Unless of cos if u want otherwise~



K, so anyway ..He replied saying that artistic people need to be able to express themselves. And most typical Singaporean guy are just unable to do that. [btw my friend is NOT gay..]
When he said that, i had to totally agree!! Most guys think that it's sissy if they express how they feel. Esp regarding things which would make them look weak.

Think about it..

How many guys just use the F-word as an adjective just for the show of it!! Just so they'll appear macho.. Key-word: APPEAR
Cos honestly, i just find it stupid and rude! Let's not even talk abt the CB word...
To digress, i think GIRLS who use tt word for no practical reason at all are even worse off!!! Totally no sense of respect for themselves. Furthermore adding the word in doesnt even make any sense to the sentence!!!!! -_-

Oh yah, guys expressing how they feel... My friend then further explained that many designers are gay..Many good ones..Just go google it..
Many musicians are gay.
How about hair-stylist?? ALOT of good ones ARE GAY!!!!

I just used to think that pro-longed use of the scissors somehow made them gayish..

So i guess it's true..To be a good artist, be it in music, design, art or whatever, you gotta be able to express yourself. And since expressing yourself means also to show everyone how you really feel and think, there are bound to be girl-ish trades surfacing.. Cos scientifically but in simple terms, everyone has male and female hormones despite of whatever gender u are..And what determines your character or how you act depends on which type of hormones are of higher quantity. Errr..okie..Think i lost some ppl on tt point..

Anyway this is just something i wanted to share and for reference in the future..
I just find it a very interesting point of view on this gayish-artist issue.


Finally the mystery of why soooOOOOO many male hair-stylist are gay is solved!!!!
