Post Delivery Day 3

Oooook it’s the end of Day 3 at the hospital....

The letter that I hoped to have typed out and posted is still not even drafted out yet..

Honestly time really just flew by this time...

1st day was mostly in and out... was feeling very sleepy and even though I didn’t feel super weak physically like post surgery of the 2nd pregnancy, but this time round it was more general tiredness....

2nd day had some admin stuff to clear.. had a couple of visitors.. Nurses in and out.. LC visits.. a little cat nap here n there..

Trying to finalise baby’s name.....

3rd day started with me thinking that I can finally get some proper rest today since no visitors planned... but I barely squeezed in 1hr of rest before Don n wp came 😅

So ya, somehow did waaaaay lesser than I hoped for..

Pain wise, the 1st time of standing up post surgery is not as traumatic as #2... but still painful as shit!

It still hurts like crazy to stand every single time right now... In fact I think the muscles in tt area all like crap now alrdy.. so it’s been quite torturous moving around the whole of today.

Maybe tts why my blood pressure has been abit high the whole of today... let’s see how it goes...

Baby also has jaundice... so hopefully that goes away during the blood test tmr morning... if not our staycation will get extended by 1 more day...

It’s really a whole new ball game.......

Between having  2 and 3....

The extra planning that goes behind every move..

Like when #2 came, we just needed to make sure #1 is taken care of...

But now u have to make sure the ppl u leave #1 AND #2 can manage those 2! Plus #2 is quite a challenging one to watch just on her own...

Throw in a fussy 5yrs old! Oh man..... if both act up, it can really drive an adult mad!

So ya, I salute the hubs who has been holding fort on that end of things...

Wayne casually said that having 3 kids without a helper is respect.....

Hahah but I guess we’re blessed to have the help of family so far!

I’m definitely on the “divide and conquer” mode now!

WE CAN DO THIS!

Let’s hope that in the weeks to come, we all settle into a new lifestyle with the addition of Baby A

Thank you God for the smooth and successful delivery process... I’m thankful that all the pain has been bearable so far..

Thank you for blessing baby with good health and making him so cute in his own little way.

Also thankful for a very understanding Don.. not easy being the eldest and actually understand that some of the attention that you used to be getting is now split to someone else.

I sincerely hope that as much as I can, he won’t feel that way..

Ok cutting this short... 7more mins before start of day 4 of this new life!

Time to sleep!
