Passion rules?

Everyone has a passion. A dream in life.

Something that we hope to achieve before the last breath.

However, because of various reasons...Not every one is willing to go after their dream. Thus, the dream therefore remained only A DREAM.

Many do what they do in life because it is the 'proper' path. The path taken by everyone else. The Safe path.

Let's take for example, a talented artist. Under the circumstances in spore, the talented guy would most likely give up his passion for art as a career just because 'it wouldnt work'. Not here. Not in the region.

For the sake of a promised paycheck every month, the guy has therefore to give up his passion. All because there are other jobs that pay better than what his 'dream job' can provide.

One can then argue that money isnt everything. THat to follow one's dream and passion is of the only importance. But is money really not worth anything?

So here's the question, when it comes down to choosing between ur dream and what you know is 'proper', which would you choose? Do u choose what is expected of you? Or do u create a path for yourself despite all the risks involved?

Is it wise to give up the assurance of a guaranteed fat paycheck just to satisfy your dream?
