First strike..but 2nd HOMERUN!!!!
I was made a very veRy happy girl on the 21st of March 2006 by a Mr Wong. =)
After the 30mins spent with him, i finally felt like a grown woman!!
Im sharing this special moment of mine with all of you because im OVERJOYED and i want to share my happiness. Im really glad i DID it! All the pain i had to go through was worth it!! Definately!
I have to admit that the initial 5mins were pure hell. I was super nervous! I was afraid to make any wrong moves which would make him think that i cant do it. So i was very cautious about every action.
Then i started telling myself that if i mess this up because of my nervousness, I wld never forgive myself. Hence i tried to lighten up abit and enjoy the moment. After that, things went great!! Though i made a few wrong moves here and there (grinz) , i did have fun overall!!
One word to describe this experience: Overwhelming!
Anyway when it was over, he sat down with me and we had a talk. I was damn worried that I had not done enough to please him. Was worried that my wrong moves have cost me more than i deserve. In short, i was nervous as hell once again. Almost peeing in my pants. On the brink of tears.
[hmm..digress a little. Funny how when u're nervous, water seems to wanna come out from every hole in your body! hahha..]
K so anyway, while he sat opposite me and i was shaking inside...He started off by kindly explaining my mistakes. He was gentle when he did it though. So i took that in a good way and used it as a learning point and promised myself to do better in future. After all he IS the experienced one!
I nodded at appropriate points. Smiled as if my pants isnt wet. Nodded somemore.
And then he told me,
"Alright, you have passed your driving test. Drive safely from now on. Proceed to the counter and get your queue number."
I was sooooooOOOOOOOOO happy that i wanted to HUG him man!!! But of cos that isnt proper behaviour to treat the Traffic Police. So i grinned madly while repeatedly thanking him for passing me!!
And then i walked away. He is part of my past now. Part of a happy memory. =)
And Im an adult (almost la..in 15days' time) now. A grown woman. With a Class 3 DRIVING LICENSE!!!!!!! wooohHOOOOOO!!!!
