self reflection

Being in this industry for 12years, it’s common for people to think we do claims (death/ critical illness etc) so often that our hearts have harden. But it still hurts so bad to be on the receiving end of that call.


Today it’s with a heavy heart to hear abt the passing of a client of the hubs. Too unfortunate & too young.. But he fought a great battle! Rest In Peace sir........


Once again reminded about the core belief of this career— to protect!


It’s not only and always abt investment returns and final surrender values..

It’s about how much you’re leaving your loved ones with, when ure no longer around to look out for them.


Similar to the black sheeps in all industries, this one has sadly seen the increase of more ‘salesman’ with the love of commission before mission.

(Of cos we’re not noble man to do this for free but just very irritated by seeing more recommendations without integrity— topic for another day)


Right, I digressed....


So yes, protection is very v impt... it should form up the base of any type of financial planning! Even before u talk about investments and savings.. because when life throws u a curve ball, comprehensive protection planning will definitely be something you won’t regret having!



Meant to put the whole above chunk in fb... but cos I didn’t want to create any controversy or hear nonsense from others who will read my intentions wrongly, i decided to keep this here for self reflection purposes.....
